Your sector, as a namespace you run.
For leagues, platforms, marketplaces and communities that want to buy a market TLD and build on it. Every member, club, seller or agent gets a name under your TLD, on your terms. The holder hears from Hush Partners. Your competitors hear about it on launch day.

Launch a namespace with a business case
Two revenue lines exist on Freename today. Neither depends on hype, and both scale with the community you already have.
Freename TLD holders earn a share of registration fees for names registered under their TLD, up to half under the registry's current terms.
Freename's Reseller API lets a business sell Web3 names under its own brand, with custom pricing.
Terms belong to the registry and can change. Sources: Freename help center · Freename APIs
Move before the others notice
A trademark TLD has one natural buyer. A market TLD has several, and they rarely know about each other yet.
When several operators could want the same word, the first credible buyer usually shapes the deal.
The holder learns that a buyer exists. Which league or platform stays private until you decide.
If others are in the conversation, we say how many. That number is stated only when true.
What a good operator brief includes
- The sector words you would build on, or the problem you want a namespace to solve
- Who would receive names: members, sellers, clubs, agents
- Your ceiling, kept private from the holder
- Launch timing and the person who signs
Operators ask
Can you shortlist market TLDs for our sector?
Yes. We map existing TLDs that fit your use case, check their state on the registry, and approach the holders you choose, one file each. See buy-side acquisition.
What if names are already issued under the TLD?
The clean title check lists them before you commit. Existing subnames can lower the price or change the plan, so you see them first.
Do names under our TLD resolve in ordinary browsers?
Resolution runs through Freename's layer and compatible wallets, browsers and extensions, outside the ICANN DNS. Coverage is growing. Your launch plan should name the wallets and browsers your users rely on.
Who helps after the transfer?
We can. Post-transfer activation covers the first names, payment links and agent identities under your TLD.
