Live on day one. Built out in ninety.
Pick your sector and what you want the TLD to do. The roadmap builds a 30, 60 and 90-day plan with the names you would issue, in the order that keeps control with you.
Day one, previewed.
Three screens that exist the day the TLD lands in your wallet: a site, a payment, an agent. Type your name and see it in place. The plan below tells you in what order to switch each one on.
Mockups for illustration. The address and amount are placeholders.
Most of it works the day the TLD lands in your wallet.
Once the transfer is confirmed onchain, the TLD sits in your wallet and you alone can issue names under it. The first weeks decide whether those names are trusted, used and easy to verify.
The plan below starts with control and policy, then issues names for real uses, then reviews what was issued. Announcements come last, and only if you want them. Resolution works through Freename's resolution layer and compatible wallets and browsers, so check the ones your counterparties use.
Build your roadmap
How to read this roadmap
- Days 1 to 30 secure the TLD and write the rules. Nothing goes public before the wallet, the signing policy and the naming policy are settled.
- Days 31 to 60 issue names for real uses, starting small and internal. Every name should have an owner and a reason.
- Days 61 to 90 review what was issued, retire what is unused and publish how outsiders can verify your official names.
The names shown are placeholders. Your counsel, security and compliance teams decide the final list, and the pace depends on your sign-off process. This is a planning aid, not advice on your specific setup.
Questions about activation
When can we start issuing names under the TLD?
After the transfer is confirmed onchain and the TLD sits in a wallet you control. On files run by Hush Partners, nothing is issued under a TLD while it is under discussion, so you start from a clean TLD.
What is a payment name like pay.yourname?
A subname that points to a receiving wallet. Counterparties can pay a readable name in compatible wallets instead of copying a long address. Check which wallets your customers and suppliers use before you rely on it.
Should AI agents get their own names?
If agents will pay, buy or answer in your name, a subname under your TLD gives each one an identity outsiders can check, such as procurement-agent.yourname. Spending limits and permissions live in the wallets and systems behind the name, so set those with your security team.
Can Hush Partners run activation for us?
Yes. Post-transfer activation covers wallets, subname policy, payment names and agent identities, with the same partner who ran the acquisition. Launch PR is available when you want to be heard.
